Medical Check Up (MCU) at Polri Sukanto Hospital (Rumah Sakit/RS) is one of the requirements for renewing my driver’s license (SIM), which happens to expire this month, and I’m doing it online. Why RS Polri Sukanto? Because my ID card address is East Jakarta. You’ll be directed to the nearest partner hospital from your registered address when you apply through e-Rikkes.
e-Rikkes
e-Rikkes is an application platform used to register for medical check-ups for driver’s license renewals or new license applications. There, you’ll be asked to take a selfie and enter your NIK (National Identification Number) as your identity so the hospital can verify that you’re not using a stand-in (lol). On the platform, you can schedule your MCU visit, and the data will be recorded in the system. Later, the doctor will check your data both in the system and through manual screening to confirm that it’s really you as the applicant. The doctor will also take a photo of you on-site for verification purposes.

Medical Check Up (MCU) Locations in East Jakarta
When you arrive at RS Polri, you’ll be directed to the Promoter Building. The Promoter Building is where the MCU takes place. There, you’ll find the registration counter and will be given a form to fill out with your personal data. Once completed, you’ll take it to the cashier. I had to pay IDR 80,000 because I was renewing two licenses: SIM A and SIM C.
Medical Check-Up Process at RS Polri
After paying the fee, you’ll be asked to wait for the doctor’s call. Inside the room, you’ll be interviewed about your physical condition, blood type, any illnesses or accidents you’ve experienced, etc. The final step is an eye examination.
The MCU process at RS Polri Sukanto doesn’t take too long. The examination results will appear in the e-Rikkes app and will also be sent to your registered email. You can immediately check whether you’ve passed the health test required for your license renewal.
