Hoodie Champion

I bought this original Champion hoodie from MAPClub.com. MAA (PT MAP Aktif Adiperkasa) is the official retailer of the Champion brand in Indonesia, under the MAP Group (PT Mitra Adiperkasa).

Champion Brand
This brand originates from the United States and focuses on sportswear. It was established in 1919 by the Feinbloom brothers. In 1989, the brand was acquired by Sara Lee Corporation. Champion is well-known for its comfortable and thick sweatshirts.

Original Champion
To ensure the clothing you buy is original, I recommend purchasing from official distributors. Currently, the official distributors for Champion in Indonesia are PT MAP Aktif Adiperkasa and PT JD Sports Indonesia.

Champion Hoodie
Here’s my review after wearing this outfit: this hoodie is quite thick, so for everyday use in Jakarta, it may not be ideal because it can get a bit warm. However, it’s great for light to moderate rain, as the raindrops don’t penetrate the sweatshirt material at all. This hoodie is more suitable for highland areas, during the rainy season in Jakarta, or in air-conditioned spaces.

The inner material feels very comfortable against the skin because the fabric is made of 79% cotton and 21% polyester. Clothing made with cotton is relatively more comfortable to wear due to its natural fibers.

On the front, there’s a print with the word “Champion” prominently displayed on the chest, and the printing material looks quite high quality. This product is made in Cambodia, with a retail price of around IDR 1,199,000. I bought it on the MAPClub app during a promo, so the price was discounted to around IDR 312,000.

Oh, and regarding sizing, this hoodie uses Asian sizing standards, so the large size isn’t overly baggy like Marks & Spencer clothing. For IDR 300,000, this hoodie is definitely worth it. :p
